Have a question about Living Nature? Take a look at our FAQs

How long has Living Nature been designing and manufacturing toys?

We have been designing and crafting our soft toy animals since 1974.

Where are Living Nature soft toys designed and made?

Living Nature toys are designed in Scotland and manufactured in the Far East to the highest quality and safety standards.

What ethical standards of practice does Living Nature adhere to?

Living Nature is a family-owned business that takes social compliance and workers’ rights very seriously. We are committed to ensuring that conditions in our manufacturing and supply facilities are maintained to the highest standards. We are members of the British Toy and Hobby Association (BTHA) and are signed up to their Code of Conduct.

What are Living Nature toys made from? Are they suitable for vegans?

Our animal soft toys are made from polyester and acrylic fabrics. They are not made from any animal-derived materials and are therefore vegan-friendly.

Please note:

    • All of the stuffing inside our soft toys has been made with 100% post-consumer recycled plastics.
    • The SMOLS range is made from recycled materials in their entirety.
    • All toys come with a hangtag stating how many recycled plastic bottles were used to make the toy.

Are your soft toys safe for pets to play with?

Living Nature soft toys have been designed for humans and have not been safety tested for pets. Although the contents such as stuffing, beads and plastic parts are not toxic, we do not recommend giving them to pets.

Are there any toxic components inside Living Nature soft toys?

There are not any toxic components in our toys. All soft toys have passed EN71 toy testing to prove their suitability for children.

Are your soft toys suitable for all ages?

As these are plush toys, there is not a specific age range attached to them. They are suitable for age 0-99 years. The standard toy testing that takes place on these items includes a “pull test” on the eyes and noses of the items to ensure they cannot be easily pulled off.
